An Indian-Canadian Artist based in Toronto, Canada, Deepti has been practicing arts & painting since the last 2 decades. A love for art & creativity inspires her to create an interesting fusion of the Abstract and the Figurative. Abstract art, being her first love, now finds dominance with a touch of realism. Along with more primary colors in her abstract forms, ancient monumental structures and elements merge flowingly in her compositions! Her love for historical monuments started from her Art college days, when days went by in observing the city monuments, studying the architectural shapes/form and sketching people around. This special bond finds depiction in her current series with layers of colors showing the archaeological beauty and play of different textures adds a vintage feel to the artwork. The subtle yet master touch of realism to the monuments and different historical elements enhance the overall aesthetics & strengthen the feeling.
My current series, “Unconditional Love!”, symbolizes the overlapping of my knowledge of the figurative and colors. Primary colors in my abstract forms merging with the ancient monumental structures and elements, playing around with different textures to give a vintage feel to the artwork.
