GAURI SHARMA
Gauri Sharma, born 1975, is a self taught artist based in New Delhi. Art has been her companion from the very time she first held a pencil. Her emotions find expression through landscapes, floral compositions and more. The play of light and the changes in the hues, tones and shades portray the many conversations with nature's diverse forms. Nature has always been a teacher and inspiration for Gauri, and her art is a way to pay tribute to the beauty of the natural world.
Art is where I find my expression. I paint using different mediums like ink on paper, watercolors on paper, oil & acrylic on canvas, pastels, charcoal and pencil. My art revolves around expressing nature in its varied moods, colors and forms.
