IGOR ELISEEV
Igor Eliseev is a visual artist, whose works have been showcased in 20 solo shows & 4 international art fairs. The study of Art and culture of the Middle East had a huge influence on the artist's work. The artist has completed several conceptual collections consisting of paintings and video installations based on the same philosophical concept, including the following “The Sand Time”, " Magic Geometry", " The Sky Sultans " and "Magic Carpets".
Working with oil on canvas, Igor is inspired by diverse stimuli, including Turkish carpets and Arabian stories. Mysterious and radiant, his figurative works which border on the surreal are abundant with geometric patterns & motifs from ancient Arabic art.
Though very personal, my viewers should have the opportunity to touch my world & thoughts & also contribute some new vision & understanding to the main idea. Every painting glows with a multi-faceted brilliance, where each face has a certain meaning but the inner essence holds its own mystery.
