Sunim Koh's art epitomizes her passion for human figures, which are depicted through linear renderings. These express her emotions, feelings & the subconscious. For Sunim, it is a voyage taken through the canvas with rhythm, pattern, colors, line and helps her & the viewer travel new worlds with the pictorial language. Her art expresses warmth in the heart and the freedom from all constraints. One of her main interests is in the human movement which she has developed on a concrete level by analysis and interpretation through incessant life studies & drawings. Sunim however represents the human body in a non-figurative way, to express the emotions & the hidden feelings, the subconscious through linear rendering of the head, torso, arms and legs. She has been part of numerous Artist residencies, group exhibitions & has showcased extensively around the globe.
